Arnold Gitau

Simon Gitonga is a passionate Landscape Architect with a strong understanding of African landscapes, landscape technology, and design practice. As Acting Studio Principal at S + A, he is closely involved in concept development, design direction, and ensuring projects remain aligned with the practice’s values and philosophy.

Before co-founding S + A Landscape Architecture, Simon trained and worked within leading landscape architecture practices in Kenya, gaining experience across design development, technical documentation, and landscape implementation. He also serves as a part-time lecturer at JKUAT, where he contributes to the development and mentorship of emerging designers.
